Are the Jats really poor?

The Jats couldn’t have proved it better that they do not deserve and need reservation in the OBC quota at all. They used all high tech methods to disrupt the economy of North India for more than more than four days, the after effects of which are still visible. What do you expect from a Jat with a Pajero car halted in the middle of NH1, and asking for reservations in the government jobs claiming that they are poor? Like really?

They had all the time in the world to come out of houses, leaving all their jobs and businesses behind to literally wipe out the economy and make it suffer for more than 35 thousand crores; while the hardworking people of the rest of general quota were waiting to get back to their work as soon as this agitation stopped because they did not have the heart to burn the shops of the Jats in return. They had the sensibility to understand that by causing harm to each other’s properties would do nothing but give birth to communal riots.

Those who lived in so called safer parts of Haryana were praying for their lives and work places, that God forbid any group of Jats might not come and burn their houses and shops. They were just so scared to get out of the house to avoid any confrontation with the madness encompassing the whole state of Haryana.

And, those who were unfortunate enough to live in an unsafe district like Rohtak, could not have cursed their fortunes more that they decided to invest their lives in a place like this. When Rohtak had nothing at least 20 years ago, a few sensible people took the risk of developing this place and convinced the people of this Jat dominated city to take the risk and invest their life and money. But, time proved them wrong! Everything they had built in the last 20-30 years was burnt down in just 20-30 minutes.

And the reason behind it? It was just the inbuilt illiteracy and high headedness of the Jat community. They did not burn down their own shops. They carefully selected the targets, who were non-Jats, and ruined them forever. The non-Jats in Haryana would not have the courage to make the same effort in this state again. Many people are there, who are ready to abandon this place forever and start afresh in a relatively safer city. Though there is no guarantee in any part of India for the so called safety because we have politicians and cops residing in our system, who just want to watch the bloodbath on TV and enjoy scotch in their plush bungalows.

The reputation of whole Jat community is ruined forever

I am sorry if I am generalizing the whole community of the Jats, but they have landed themselves in the same category as that of the Muslims. Whenever a bomb blast takes place in any part of the world, we hear a name like Iqbal, Sahir, Zahir, Afzal, etc. and we decide that the whole Islamic community is not worth the trust. Similarly, if now we hear a Jat name in front of us, or someone speaking the Haryanvi dialect comes across; we will be scared. We will be scared because the Jat community has instilled a fear in us that if we do not give them what they want, they might kill us, they might ruin us forever, they might burn down our home or business forever so that we do not gather the courage again to rise up and even dream of giving a bright future to our sons and daughters.

What did Modi Ji think when he launched the “Beti Padhao, Beti Badhao” scheme in Haryana? What did national chess Jat champion, Anuradha Beniwal think when she got the medals for her country? They just thought that they would do the good and the same would return to their country. They never thought that they would take one step forward and there would be people behind their back, who are ready to pull them back ten steps. The most famous, or rather infamous city of Rohtak is pulled back at least 20 years back and has been snatched of all the development it dared to make in the last few decades.

The rapes

The news of rape is not new in such circumstances. It is nothing but amusing that more than a dozen females were raped near the border of the capital of India in Haryana. And the reason why? Again, just because a few sex induced males from the female deprived villages of Haryana, could not control their physical calls, took advantage of the situation and just decided to rape the women of their own country. They did not even think twice that the actions of a few wild Jats would affect the reputation of their whole community. And, the women could not even dare to complain against the rapes, rather gang rapes, because the police was also allegedly involved in these transgressions. Any sensitive and educated woman would now be scared to go near a Jat because she knows that he belongs to a community which would forcibly have what they want.
Forget men, the women of the same community had come on roads to claim for reservation. Many of them do not even understand the meaning of reservation. But still, they came on roads to support their fellows. The Jat community should be eulogized for their unity. Even if they do not understand a word of what their leader says, they would support them just because they are Jat. That is the reason enough for them.

The rational Jat

As Anuradha Beniwal says, ‘the Jats win medals in Olympics for India, the Jats prove to be the most courageous on the Indian borders, the Jats are the best whenever there is a question of courage, then why are the Jats defaming themselves by doing such acts- raping women, burning down the streets, damaging the economy? Just because a non-ideological leader said so? Don’t you have any brains of your own? How could you burn down the houses and shops of your own fellows, with whom your shared your lunchbox in school?

Is reservation the only solution?

No economy can sustain with just the government in rule. There have to be some private players to support the economy. Can you sustain yourself with just 10,000 INR of income throughout your life from a government job? You can’t. Nobody can’t. Then why do you want such reservations for your community when you are affluent enough to support the downtrodden people of your state?
You should be confident enough that you can st
udy enough that you can beat the crippling reservation system of India, which gives reservations based on caste, not on the basis of financial needs of the people of this unfortunate country.

The whole country would agree to one thing that there should be no reservation for any community in government jobs. But, it would be we the people of this India, who would not vote for a party who scraps off the reservation system from this economy. Then why would any political party dare to do away with such a system, which pleases the short sighted citizens of India?

Have you ever thought why Britain has developed 100 times more than India? Because they have more rational thinking than us. Yes, that’s the brutal answer to all the questions we raise in India. We are 100 steps behind them because we are selfish. We are 100 steps behind them because we place ourselves before the country. We are 100 steps behind them because we are not united.

It is high time dear Indians, if you recognize the sensitive atmosphere of the country, start thinking beyond yourselves and give India a chance to grow and do not let any dirty political party to play the trump card of castes to keep ruining us every time we rise!
