When the lockdown and isolation spree began last year in 2020 in India, we were also brainwashed by the Modi government to isolate ourselves. Almost every Indian treated Modi’s word as the words set in stone. However, as the time elapsed and we stepped into 2021, we all realized that he is a leader capable of nothing but lip service. He made the economy collapse right in front of his eyes and didn’t do anything about it. Nonetheless, I also saw that corona was not something to be highly scared of for the young individuals, but the elderly needed to be much more careful than us. It is indeed a pandemic the way it spreads widely, but I also thought that it is recoverable. As a healthy person, I did not want to wear a mask because I wanted to breathe freely.
