My Secret Speculation on Navjot Singh Sidhu leaving the BJP

After reading and watching the speculations regarding Navjot Singh Sidhu joining AAP, my mind has a singular opinion on the matter. I can sense that what we are witnessing is just the tip of an iceberg and there is much more beneath the headlines of newspapers. Apparently, Sidhu was not happy with his status in BJP, but if I am reading the mind of BJP Strategists right, Sidhu is double crossing AAP. Arvind Kejriwal might be elated with the thought that he is successful in breaking the BJP apart, and successfully inducting a crowd puller into his party. However, there might be a chance that BJP has sent someone to AAP who is dedicated to the former, but pretends to be the chief campaigner of the latter. In the meanwhile, let AAP rejoice that they have given a blow to the biggest political party of the world.


A few days ago, there were speculations from an insider of AAP a few days earlier that Kejriwal might declare his wife, Sunita Kejriwal as the CM candidate, after she resigned from her Finance Ministry job. However, it was predicted too early, and Kejriwal might have thought it better to place someone else in place of his wife, to save his reputation and avoid being called an opportunist or a dictator again.

From a long time, Kejriwal is being accused of being a liar and a far sighted planner. Nevertheless, this time my gut feeling says that he has put forward his weak cards, and will face a blow in Punjab. And that is because, if BJP or Akali Dal wins, Punjab is still saved from AAP. On the contrary, if unfortunately AAP wins, Navjot Singh Sidhu will work for the benefit of the state, which AAP clearly is least interested in. Kejriwal is trying a number of tactics to have the people of Punjab on his side.


Sidhu doesn't appear to be in such weak state of mind that he joins AAP in such haste, particularly when the state of Aam Admi Party is on its last legs. He is a bright man with a brilliant mind. I personally believe he has better plans for his place of birth, than the real Aam Admi can speculate.

‘My choice’- The documentary on women empowerment by Deepika Padukone

A few months ago, Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone was featured in a video called ‘My Choice’. It seemed to be made for the empowerment of women but it went much deeper. The dialogues that were delivered by Deepika were supported by the acts of the other ninety-nine women featured in it. These were the ordinary women, some middle class and some upper middle class like any of us. However, I personally do not agree with the entire video. Because eventually, Homi Adjania, the director forgot that when we talk about the empowerment of women, it is not only about the women in urban places, but also the poor women of rural India. I disagree with the documentary on two platforms: factual and emotional. From the factual point of view, there was some serious misunderstanding about the topic itself. So how is it time to realize the dreams for everyone?  Yes, I said that because there is something in everyone's mind that they categorize as their dream and they want to fulfil it, sometime in future.  You may not put in all your time and capital in it right now, but you can surely start thinking about executing your plans.  You may start thinking about the money you need, the unique ideas you would implement, and the USP of your product or company even if many other similar entities exist in the market.  When you keep thinking about your dreams, your thoughts become plans, and your plans become actions.  That someday becomes this day, today!!  Even if it takes you a few years contemplating about the pros and cons, the do's and don't, yóu still come a long way when you actually begin.  That's what I said, the time is now!!
